My first homemade candle! I melted the wax using a double boiler and a coffee can. I used an old candle which I broke down so it was in smaller chunks. I then dumped a bunch of rocks into the jar and placed a long skinny candle in the center. I poured the hot wax all around the centered candle and tada! Super easy and super fun :)

I made this stencil for Kyle. I was going to make him a shirt using this stencil for his b-day, but never sent him anything, so one night when I was bored I made myself a sweatshirt! The monkey is a drawing a made in one of my classes, and I created the stencil using the vinyl cutter at my work.

Bullet Necklace

So I finally found a crystal to fit inside my necklace! There is a shop up here that sells them for $1 each! and they have pretty much any size. I fixed the bullet at work, using all the tools in the metal shop which was pretty fun. Yahoo!

These cookies were AMAZING! You are right it was super hard to not eat all the dough... I was somehow able to make at least 30 cookies :) These are the perfect Halloween treat, I want to do this for every holiday, with a special color for each day!

My Favorite Earrings

I have wanted these earrings from Urban Outfitters for a couple month now, but could not possibly cough up the $24 plus shipping for them. After staring at their image online day after day, I finally decided to go to Michaels and purchase supplies to make them myself. The chain was $2, and I have a ton left for future project, and the feathers were used from a pair of hideous earring purchased at Forever 21 for $6. I took them apart and Tada! My favorite earrings!

Best Friend...

Hey Momma! OK.. so if you want to add a photo and write text in the same blog all you have to do is go to the new post screen. Then, in the tool bar provided above where you write your post, you put your mouse over the icon that looks like a blue sky and mountains. When you get there, the mouse should say 'Add Image'. Click that, and it will take you to a place where you can upload the image from the folder you created.
If you want to spell check, click the button which is one button to the right. It has an ABC and a check underneath.
The only reason I know this is because I have been using computers my whole life, so don't get sad. You are doing such an amazing job and your blog looks so beautiful! I am so proud of you Momma!!!
